Friends of Silvermont is currently looking to community businesses and organizations for support as we increase our efforts to maintain and enhance Silvermont Park and Mansion. Our annual Pumpkin Fest fundraiser attracts thousands of patrons from throughout western N.C and nearby states; 5,300 patrons attended in 2023. The event takes place over four weekends in October and has been reported as a top Halloween family attraction in area magazines and television news reports.
Pumpkin Fest is our primary fundraiser, but it is expensive to stage. Logistics, storage, material, publicity and labor costs exceed $15,000 annually. Business and organization sponsorships are being sought to offset event costs and achieve more effective fundraising.

Event Night Sponsor – $800 – Business logo (to be provided) placed on event publicity including social media, publication ads, posters, and on separate signage at the sponsored event night(s). Sponsor is invited to host a booth
(in a high traffic area near the front of the mansion, tent and table provided) if they wish to provide promotional materials, giveaways, etc. Large, business-related items may be displayed in the food court area.
Special Music Sponsor – $400 – Business name listed on the 2 ft x 3ft sign board displayed at gazebo where event band plays. Sponsor will be announced by performers. Business will be provided list of performers if they wish to sponsor a specific person/group.
Local Business/Organization Sponsors – $250 or more – Business Name and/or logo to be included on our “Thank You, Sponsors” sandwich board posters at the event. Sandwich boards are placed near primary entrance and exit and are passed by all attendees. Additional sandwich boards will be added to ensure sponsor logos are large and legible.
